Supervisor, Blood Donor Centres and Mobile Blood Drives

Reporting to the manager - Donor Centres, you will supervise, coordinate and manage the activities pertaining to the operation of the Globule blood donor centres or a mobile blood drive. You will ensure that the environment is safe and productive, while respecting Héma-Québec’s regulatory, administrative and financial frameworks.
More specifically, you will manage the human and material resources and see that the collection activities proceed so as to minimize waiting time and provide adequate customer service. You have an expert knowledge of the collective agreements for the various unions representing the employees and make sure they are respected. You will make sure that the environment at the blood drives is safe, for employees, volunteers and donors. You will work with the various departments responsible for the donor centres and blood drives. Finally, you will take part in continuous improvement so as to ensure the efficiency of the operations and the maintenance of a harmonious work environment.
You have a university degree in a field considered pertinent. You have a minimum of three years of experience in personnel management in a regulated and unionized environment. Any experience in the pharmaceutical sector is considered an asset. You are available to work one weekend out of three and variable schedules on the day and evening shifts. You are interested in and have a natural aptitude for managing complex operations. You have strong interpersonal skills and an approach that is focused on customer service. You are acknowledged for your skill at supervising, coaching and effectively motivating a work team. You master the Microsoft Office applications as well as French and English.
