Diabetes
You can donate if resolved or controlled by diet or oral medication.
If treated with insulin:
- Type I or juvenile diabetes
You can donate if:- You ate two hours before donating.
- You have not had a severe episode in the last 3 months.
- You do not currently have a foot or leg ulcer.
- You do not repeatedly get dizzy or light-headed while standing.
- Type II diabetes or diabetes mellitus
You can donate if:- You have not had a severe episode in the last 3 months.
- You do not currently have a foot or leg ulcer.
- You do not repeatedly get dizzy or light-headed while standing.
- For any other type of diabetes
