Corporate affairs

 

The Corporate Affairs team provides the legal support and public relations essential to the smooth running of the organization. It also oversees governance and the application of rules of ethics. In addition, the team is responsible for government relations, sustainable development and the executive secretariat (Board of Directors and its committees).

More specifically, the legal division of Corporate Affairs is responsible for compliance with laws, legal advice, contract review, insurance and claim management as well as access to information and privacy.

The public relations division of Corporate Affairs is responsible for ensuring the visibility and recognition of Héma-Québec. Accordingly, the team is in charge of media relations, the drafting and production of several institutional publications, including the annual report, as well as Héma-Québec’s presence in electronic media (Web site, social media).
