Mrs. Suzanne Rémy, recipient of the Quebec Business Women’s award 2008

Mrs. Suzanne Rémy, Héma-Québec’s Vice-President, Quality and Standards, was the recipient of the Quebec Business Women’s award in the category executive or professional, public or parapublic agency, during the event’s 8th annual gala held last Wednesday and organized by the Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec.
The annual competition for the Quebec Business Women’s award values the excellence of women in their respective fields and contributes to their success. It recognizes Quebec women who stand out in the business world owing to their know-how, self-management skills and achievements as well as their local, national and international outreach.
Mrs. Rémy holds a master’s degree in microbiology and immunology as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Montreal’s HEC. She worked at Sainte-Justine Hospital for 11 years and at the Red Cross for 7 years. She was part of the team that created Héma-Québec ten years ago, and has devoted herself to the organization since. Suzanne Rémy is a consummate professional whose expertise and know-how are recognized throughout Quebec and Canada, particularly in her role as an industry representative for the CSA.
