Case of family exposure
If a member of your immediate family (father, mother, child, brother or sister) has familial Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease:
- You cannot donate.
Travelling to areas at risk of variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (vCJD) is no longer an ineligibility criterion.
